We're seeking a passionate General Cook to join our dynamic Room Service team, where you'll craft delectable creations that delight our guests from the comfort of their rooms. THE JOB: 

As an In-Room Dining Cook at Aria, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by using your culinary techniques. You’ll provide high-quality food to guests from all over the world.  Partnering with front-of-house staff, you will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE:  $24.6173 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY: 

Show your culinary passion by crafting various menu items while following set recipes and standards Consistently maintain proper stocking, cleanliness, and sanitation of back-of-house areasEnsure guest safety by following proper food handling proceduresMaintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniquesIdentify and safely use kitchen equipmentRestock kitchen supplies and food items required for serviceProperly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitationMaintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentationMaintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soupsAssist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of serviceWork as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

High school diploma, GED or educational equivalentOne (1) year previous experience as a cook within the hospitality industryMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

Knowledgeable of weights, measures and various cooking techniquesKnowledge of knives and knife skills, standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwaresKnowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulationsSkilled in culinary tasks for both hot and cold food preparationDescribes themselves as detail-oriented and a multi-taskerExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
