Cook - Nutrition Services

Under the supervision of the Manager of Nutrition Services and/or the Department Supervisor, the cook, both A.M. and P.M. positions, prepares all hot food for patients, coffee shop, and catering using primarily scratch cooking methods.  Uses institutional cooking equipment such as stoves, steamer, slicer, food processor, mixer, etc.  Uses standardized recipes and pre-established portion control guidelines.  Dishes up food on patient trayline.  Cleans cooking area, including all equipment.

Required Qualifications:

National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Food production and cooking experience.
