Responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards. Prepare all food products as directed by the Chef. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include
Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards. Ensure the proper handling/storage of all products in accordance with standards and sanitation. Ensure all equipment is clean and in proper working order. Assist with kitchen inventory and stock rotation as needed. Other job related duties as assigned.This position is not limited to those duties listed in the job description. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Prior restaurant experience as a Cook minimum of 2-3 years. Knowledge of food products and preparation. Able to carry out policies and procedures of Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.Work Environment
Employees working the Casino or Bowling Center may be exposed to second-hand smoke and moderate levels of noise. Work entails various conditions of noise levels, temperature, illumination, air quality, crowding, balance and handling of sharp and hot objects. Long hours with over time required at times. Work requires knowledge and use of chemicals and electrical equipment. Able to work at a fast pace in an often crowded/noisy environment.
