JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Plans, sets up, executes tests and analyzes and reports results and recommendations
* Getting updates on machine availability from Machine Engineers
* Driving instrumentation set up and assisting with troubleshooting as required
* Running tests with or without machine operators.
* During planning and documentation stages, the day will include meetings with Design teams, most of which are teleconferences

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* A BS degree or Masters Degree in an Engineering curriculum that included Thermodynamics (Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)
* 5-7 years" experience required.
* Good understanding of Thermodynamic systems
* Knowledge with instrumentation like thermocouples, pressure transducers, flow meters, etc. and how to apply them
* High initiative, good communication and strong teamwork skills
* Ability to perform physical work (climb machines, turn wrenches, etc.)
* Experience with troubleshooting and fixing mechanical systems desired
