Position Summary:
Provide a systematic and objective approach for the coordination and support of initiatives and projects for the assigned areas. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.

Detailed responsibilities:
* TRAINING - Coordinate with areas and departments in the training of internal and external stakeholders in the application of Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) or other applicable workplace violence training programs
* TRAINING – Identify and facilitate required levels of training based on role, area and or needs in coordination with Security and the WPV committee
* DATA - Conduct data collection, retrieval, and analysis. Present data in a variety of formats for both assigned areas and committees
* BENCHMARK - Provide baseline and benchmark information to identify and prioritize processes for process improvement
* QUALITY - Facilitate problem identification and resolution by understanding and applying ongoing process improvement strategies
* REPORTS - Prepare reports on the program services and trends at both interval and annual timeframe
* PROCESS MEASUREMENT - Identify key processes and determine the most effective way of measuring success
* RESEARCH - Research, coordinate and assist in the development, dissemination and implementation of program initiatives
* REPORTS - Collate and report on variations in practice patterns on an on-going basis
* PROJECTS - Provide a systematic and objective approach for the coordination and support of initiatives and projects for WPV education and training
* BENCHMARKING – Determine program benchmarking activities
* COMMITTEES - Maintain active membership in the WPV committee along with other pertinent committees and provide support or facilitation for these committees when necessary
* CUSTOMER/STAFF RELATIONS - Establish and maintain good rapport and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* KNOWLEDGE - Develop a thorough knowledge of services provided
