The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a dedicated and experienced Inventory Control Coordinator. Under moderate supervision, maintain proper inventory levels throughout the distribution center's product line. Pull or replenish inventory to satisfy organizational needs. Ensure shipment and delivery time schedules are maintained. Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies. Perform periodic review of inventory stock, recording quantity, type, and value of materials on hand.What we’re looking for
Education: High School education or GED preferred.Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar position is preferred.Experience in operating order pickers or stand-up forklifts is required.Must be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet or more.Experience in counting, verifying, and handling materials at elevated heights, ensuring accuracy and safety.Must have prior experience with inventory counts and multiple units of measure. Entering data into WMS and using RF.Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Daily cycle counts. Daily empty bin confirmation.Investigate discrepancies that arise at physical inventory grid locations and review variances between the SAP systems that may not have been caught through reporting mechanisms.Retrieve mail, code invoices, and enter into Excel.Monitoring front door and phone calls. Greeting guest, sign in’s, administer safety guides to contractors.Unload trucks and verify delivery with BOL.Record retention of packing slips, invoices, training records and guest / contractor slogs. Posting events.Retrieving work orders on the RF unit and preform cycle counts assigned to the WO.Check system for empty bins and verify. Entering data into WMS. Reviewing invoices and prepping for coding and spreadsheet entry.Keep up with various spreadsheets.Record keeping of various logs. Unloading delivery trucks, verifying delivery.Cross training in other warehouse duties.Continuous Physical Inventory (CPI)Conducts entire warehouse stock counts and ensures inventory accuracy.Daily Stock Checks/ Stock Maintenance.Runs daily report to review.Verifies product lot numbers and dating information for internal Customers
Provides quality assurance (QA) info on product lot numbers and expiry information for product recalls.Moves inventory stock upon request (both physically and in SAP system).Responsible for monthly inventory counts of dated items with life codes in SAP (DWO), as well as validation, rotation, and reports.Warehouse Short Investigations.
