 Job Overview

 

Responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day activities of the Residency Program: recruitment/processing of all applicants, maintaining and updating documents/files, resident evaluations and visa status of residents, production and/or distribution of monthly schedules, letters of verification and data entry required for accrediting agencies. Functions as a liaison between the residents and Program/Associate Program Director, Graduate Medical Education, accrediting agencies and other inter-departmental and outside personnel. Qualifications Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of an Associate's degree in Business or closely related field and one to two years of work related experience (Bachelor's preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to communicate with accrediting agencies for the residency program (ACGME and ECFMG) and the complexities of their regulations. Must be able to work with large volumes of data and email communications with equanimity as required in the resident interview and selection process.
