Coordinador RAM (Fabricación)

Position objective

Provide robust solutions and alternatives related to automation and controls to keep the production running according to the H&S, Quality and productivity standards. Analyze data and define actions to eliminate recurring downtime causes. 


Establish a strong communication with stakeholders to keep them informed about problem status, action plan progress, containment actions, etc. 
Coordinate a group of RAM Engineers to assure the proper support for the operation.
 

Roles & responsibilities

Develop the configuration to reach the best interaction between equipment, technologies and the operator considering H&S and Quality as priority.Provide the support needed to keep the operation running in safety and smoothly wayDefine the best strategy to integrate new technologies, equipment and data systems to the current ones.Administrate the current technologies capacities to keep the operation running at the highest level.Define the necessary budget for the continuous improvement projects, technologies upgrading, obsolescence management and new technologies integrationImplement problem solving methodologies to eliminate one timers and recurrent problems that affect the operation continuity.Share best practices with other sites and implement those ones applicable for our site.Assess the maturity level of the technical and soft skills of the RAM TeamSupport the team in their development plan identifying the necessary training Perform the annual revision of each of the engineers in the team through the implementation of SMART based objectives and providing on time follow up via PMP process.Generate and promote a positive work environment for the people of his team and adjust if needed using the officevibe and 1 on 1 programs.Detecting, managing and communicating risks at the different levels based on the nature of the problem.Assure all new and existing equipment are installed under the defined standards.Create a continuous improvement culture by using lean manufacturing principles (BRPMS)Ensure collaboration between the different departments by leading, developing and coaching his employees to work together in a fast paced environment.Detect and generate business case opportunitiesControl department cost to meet financial objectives (CAPEX/OPEX)Collaborate enthusiastically in promoting BRP work culture daily by spreading a winning attitude and participating in the activities that will keep the company CSR philosophy.=
 

Position profile:

Bachelor: Mechatronics, robotic, electronic engineer or alike

Professional Experience:

At least 5 years experience in a previous related position.(RAM/IS)24 Months of experience in IS project management.

Technical skills (Minimum desire


1. Google Office suite (Gmail.calendar, meet, drive)
4. People/team management knowledge/experience
2. SAP Certifications (ERP, APO, ME) Industry 4.0, Innovation.
5. Highly organized
3. Dominant of problem solving process (DMACC/PSP)
6. Assembly process experience is a must (3 years at least)
