Coordinator, Academic Success and Bar Prep (LW7821)
+ Works independently supporting the College of Law Academic Success and Bar Preparation department by maintaining the office, supporting the Assistant Directors and Assistant Dean for Academic Success and Bar Preparation, and organizing and maintaining operations and procedures. + Manages, reviews, and analyzes data and reports; summarizes data for use by other College of Law departments; and identifies areas for improvement in data collection and report development. + Record sources of data and information in student management systems, including student attendance, academic success meeting notes, and bar results. + Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and databases that record student data and information pertinent to academic success and bar preparation. + Prepare regularly scheduled reports, including budget documents and payment requests for reimbursements and invoices received by the department. + Assist in the implementation of policies and procedures for the Academic Success and Bar Preparation department + Communicate accurately, timely, and professionally with students, faculty, and staff about various programmatic matters. + Organizing and scheduling student appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, and managing the office calendars + Schedule group meetings and events, including organizing luncheons for workshops, testing, and the bar exam. + Understand and be able to respond appropriately to questions regarding the department while maintaining confidential information about students. + Complete general clerical and organizational work, including filing, ordering office supplies, copying, answering calls, replying to emails, etc. + Update internal web portals. + Other duties as assigned by Assistant Dean. Required Skills + B.A. degree is strongly preferred, but an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience (especially in an education setting or the legal field) may substitute. + Self-starter who can work independently on projects without supervision. + A high level of organization, flexibility, multitasking, judgment, and interpersonal skills. + Excellent follow-through and confidentiality. + Possess strong written and verbal communication and strong customer service skills. + Ability to maintain confidentiality pursuant to FERPA and other regulations. + Minimum of three years of office management experience Required Experience + Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
