Coordinator, Inclure (Youth Recovery Recreational Program)

Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Inclure Program Coordinator to develop and lead recovery and wellness-focused recreational activities for youth (ages 12-26) across Westchester County, NY. The program aims to support individuals in mental health and/or substance use treatment by providing access to free or low-cost activities that foster recovery, while also being open to all youth who commit to a substance-free environment.
This full-time (35 hours/week) hybrid position has a salary range of $60,000-$65,000 per year. Hybrid work arrangements are available, and some weekend and evening hours are required.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Design and coordinate recovery-oriented recreational activities to support youth and young adults in their recovery journey from mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
+ Work closely with local agencies, organizations, and community groups to plan and promote engaging activities.
+ Manage the Inclure webpage, social media, and event calendar to keep the community informed about upcoming events. Actively present to schools, PTAs, community organizations, and other groups to increase program visibility.
+ Create opportunities for youth to build leadership skills through participation in the program.
+ Facilitate co-occurring disorders prevention workshops for parents, guardians, and school personnel to raise awareness and promote early intervention.
+ Monitor program participation, analyze engagement trends, and complete required reports for program and grant compliance.
+ Other Duties as needed.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
+ Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Human Services or a related field; a Master's Degree in Social Work with a valid NYS LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or CASAC license is preferred.
+ At least 2 years of experience working with youth or young adults, especially those with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
+ Proven ability to collaborate with diverse community stakeholders to achieve meaningful program outcomes.
+ Experience or training in substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders prevention and/or treatment is preferred.
+ Proficient in using social media for outreach and engagement. Able to deliver services in person, via remote live stream, and through virtual asynchronous platforms.
+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to take initiative.
+ Commitment to working with diverse communities and fostering an inclusive environment.
