Coordinator, Logistics - Skilled
Description We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for a Coordinator, Logistics - Skilled position in the logistics industry. The role will be based in Weston, Florida, and will involve administering and operating the organization's warehouses, including the processing, packaging, and shipping of supplies, materials, and equipment. Responsibilities: • Administer and operate the organization's warehouses • Coordinate schedules for shipping materials to regulate warehouse space and control the flow of goods • Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures and the efficient utilization of space • Oversee the maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment • Coordinate the movement of products from the warehouse with all third-party logistics companies • Manage all aspects of shipping documentation, including the creation of shipment authorization paperwork and verification of packing slips • Collaborate with third-party logistics partners on the creation of freight and customs documentation • Handle multiple concurrent tasks and adapt to changing priorities • Manage additional projects and responsibilities as required • Maintain quality control, ensure audit compliance, and oversee record keeping • Ensure the quality standards for the company are met or exceeded • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team and other departments to ensure seamless operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Documentation and Reporting procedures • Profound knowledge of Materials Handling • Understanding of Quality and Logistics principles • Familiarity with Shipping Functions and related Paperwork • Experience in Facility management and dealing with Partners • Proficiency in Shipping Verification and Authorizations • Strong Coordination skills • Knowledge of Packaging Components and Record Keeping • Adherence to Quality Standards • Knowledge of Customs procedures and Operating Procedure • Experience in Coordinating Schedules • Ability to handle Packing Slip and Audit Compliance • Experience with Third Party Logistics • Familiarity with AB Testing and NIS systems.
