Appointment Type Full Time Regular Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt General Function The Coordinator, Office of the Registrar oversees major processes in all functional areas of the Office of the Registrar, including but not limited to; registration, records maintenance, graduation eligibility, degree audit, class schedule building, curriculum and catalog maintenance, grading, and end-of term processing under the overall direction of and in cooperation with the Office of the Registrar supervisory team. The Coordinator, Office of the Registrar serves in a customer service and troubleshooting capacity for fellow Office of the Registrar employees, faculty, staff, and students. Description of Primary Duties
The Coordinator, Office of the Registrar works independently, with limited supervision, to ensure the effective operation of the Office of the Registrar by completing time-sensitive projects, gathering and organizing required information, maintaining required records, evaluating various approaches to completing projects, developing tools and utilizing available resources to achieve desired outcomes, exercising judgment to make decisions, and assuring effective communication with the campus community. Under the authority of the registrar, and associate registrars, facilitates the management of major processes of the Office of the Registrar. Minimum Acceptable Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required. An equivalent combination of years of experience and education may be considered for substitution of educational requirements.

Experience: Four years of work experience in higher education and/or a student service-related field is required. Experience administering complex processes and making independent decisions is required. Experience working in a registrar’s or closely related office with similar responsibilities is preferred. Experience working with the Banner student module is preferred.

Skills: The ability to work effectively as part of a team and collegially with staff, faculty, and administration. The ability to prioritize work duties when faced with interruptions, distractions, and fluctuating workload. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong technical ability to learn university systems.
