Job Description: The Patient Access Coordinator serves as a primary resource and trainer for Patient Access Department staff. As the first point of contact for most PVHMC patients, this position provides key customer and financial services. This position provides services for registration, upfront collections, medical necessity checking and financial counseling, referring those patients to appropriate sources for follow up as needed. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: [Required] High School diploma or equivalent. Three years' experience in hospital registration. Working knowledge of registration and insurance requirements. Computer literate and knowledge of applications relative to department functions.
Salary Range: $22.43-$31.56 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
