Coordinator, Servicing Appraisal QC

Summary:

The QC Coordinator of the Servicing Appraisal Quality is responsible for executing various tasks and processes to support the Servicing Appraisal Quality and Servicing Default departments. As part of the servicing default and loss mitigation processes, this position supports the department’s review of appraisal reports to validate the value credibility and compliance with investor requirements and internal Freedom Mortgage guidelines. The QC Coordinator’s tasks and processes support the company’s servicing appraisal quality control process, including coordinating with appraisal providers, valuation review platform and technology providers, and other departments such as Default and Operations. Additionally, this position may also provide additional tasks as requested by Property Risk Management and Default. This position requires the ability to work independently while executing responsibilities as directed by management.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and complete Sagent/Tempo tasks to identify when appraisal orders have been returned from the vendor and the reports are ready for quality control review.

Input and updated various information into Sagent/Tempo and other platforms used within the appraisal quality control process.

Pull and maintain reports to monitor the status of appraisal orders, reviews, and revisions to ensure the department meets completion goals.

Provide general administrative support as needed.

Collaborate with Default, Operations, Property Risk Management, and/or third-party vendors to resolve quality control process issues and guide appraisal reviews to completion within SLAs.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance quality control procedures.

Manage special projects as assigned by management.

Maintain accurate records and files.

Prepare reports and provide feedback to management regarding quality control issues and process improvements.

Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Strong technological proficiency is a must to excel in this position.

Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in in Microsoft Office, specifically SharePoint, Excel, Word and Teams.

Possess a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.

Possess clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills.

Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic, high-volume environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Experience with Sagent/Tempo is preferred.

Intermediate proficiency in SQL and/or use of database query tools is preferred.

At least one (1) year experience creating reports using Power BI is preferred.

Ability and willingness to adapt/learn/utilize multiple and/or new software applications.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, prioritization and time management skills to deliver results with minimal supervision.

Professional appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of prior relevant experience within a high-volume environment with shifting priorities.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Problems and issues faced are general but require analysis of FFOC’s  policies and procedures, as well as external best practices and regulations, to assess and resolve.
