Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing the purchasing process of goods, raw materials, and spare parts for Reddy Ice manufacturing plants and refurbishment centers. They work closely with various teams, including operations, logistics, quality assurance, and accounting to ensure the efficient execution of our parts and supplies ordering strategy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchase Order Management:Enter and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently in the accounting system.Verify purchase orders for accuracy, including quantities, prices, and vendor information.Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues.Invoice Processing:Receive, review, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner.Ensure invoices are coded to the correct accounts and match purchase orders.Reconcile discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and delivery receipts.Obtain necessary approvals for payment processing.Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders promptly and professionally.Support other accounting functions as needed and assist with special projects.Inventory Management: Coordinate with the supply chain planning team to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce stock discrepancies.Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management associated with the development of the role.CONTACTS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; preferably 2 years of Supply Chain/Procurement experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software/tools (e.g., ERP systems).Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Strong communication skills and ability to work well with vendors and team members.Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable best practices.SKILLS & ABILITIES

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Typical office environment, generally sedentary position using computers, calculators, phones, and other office equipment. Conditions vary from normal office conditions to all areas inside and outside of plant. Exposure to extreme temperature fluctuations, ammonia and heavy moving equipment. Weekend and evening work may be required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships and reason through complex business situations is essential. Some travel might be required with potential for overnight stay; a valid drivers license and acceptable MVR are required.
