ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Position may perform any or all of the following tasks as assigned:
Systems Knowledge
• Issue suggested purchase orders based upon MRP system suggestions and customer demand.
• Request changes to purchase order dates from suppliers based upon MRP system suggestions and demand changes.
• Update MRP system to ensure clear communication of expected Service parts inventory.
• Monitor open purchase orders and ensure on-time receipt.
• Issue purchase orders to support engineering changes.
Customer Management
• Update the business on the status and direction of your business on a daily basis or as required.
• Update internal customers on key Service parts supply issues and drive them to resolution.
• Coordinate engineering changes between internal customers and suppliers.
Supplier Management
• Update purchase orders as required.
• Manage supplier to maintain continuity of supply and product availability.
• Challenge all price increase requests from suppliers and escalate if unsuccessful.
• Serve as single point of contact for suppliers for SCR/Change Order tracking and prioritization.
• Hold suppliers accountable to shipment plan.
