Reporting to the Director of Recruitment and Outreach Programs the Coordinator for Recruitment and Outreach USMSM will lead undergraduate recruitment for the Clark School degree programs at the University System of Maryland at Southern Maryland and support undergraduate recruitment and outreach activities for the collegeThe Coordinator will meet with prospective undergraduate students and groups develop marketing materials develop and lead outreach initiatives and build relationships with local high schools community colleges and student and parent focused organizations Using recruitment admissions and demographic data they will develop recruitment and outreach strategies specific to Clark School programs at USMSM The Coordinator will support year round programming for prospective students at USMSM They will also support general recruitment for the Clark School and participate in the review of admission and scholarship applications This position is located at USMSM in California MarylandThe position will require occasional weekend and evening work and travel primarily within the Southern Maryland region as well as travel to the University of Maryland at College ParkThe A James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland catalyzes high quality research innovation and learning preparing our students to create innovations that will address the 21st century Grand Challenges eg energy environment security and human health and improve the human condition The Clark School is dedicated to leading and transforming the engineering discipline and profession accelerating entrepreneurship and transforming research and learning activities into innovations that benefit millions
