Access ASU seeks a dynamic individual with experience and interest in outreach. The Coordinator for Access ASU - Outreach Experiences will promote higher education for Arizona communities, students, and parents. This position will develop programming, create, and present workshops to encourage post-secondary education for students and families. Under general supervision, the Coordinator will plan, organize, and coordinate activities and programs following priorities and funding limitations. This role will focus on engaging, recruiting, and enrolling under-resourced students to ASU across all campuses.
The Coordinator is responsible for efficiently implementing Access ASU programs, with a primary focus on logistics, planning, and execution of program activities. This position is front-facing, working closely with internal and external partners to create a college-going culture and actively advance Access ASU initiatives.

Regular Schedule: In-person, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; evenings and weekends will be required occasionally. Work location is primarily at the Memorial Union building at the ASU Tempe Campus, with travel to off-campus events and other ASU campuses as needed in the employee’s vehicle when applicable. 

Full-TimeASU conducts pre-employment screening for all positions which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, academic credentials, licenses, and certifications. Employment is contingent upon successful passing of the background check.OpenWork is performed in an office environment and involves extended periods of sitting, typing, and using a computer.Occasional standing and walking moderate distances are required.Regular tasks may include bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.The role demands flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and resolve conflicts within a fast-paced environment.Effective communication is essential for performing core duties.Must professionally represent the department/program.Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.Ability to communicate clearly to perform essential functions.The incumbent must possess a valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to walk throughout campus for meetings or events, regardless of the weather.Work collaboratively to achieve objectives.

Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
