Under the supervision of the Associate Director, the Coordinator, Student Connection and Community assists in coordinating student organizations, leadership programming, and campus affinity experiences on the ASU West Valley Campus as a member of the Student Connection and Community (SCC) team. This position provides day-to-day advisement and developmental resources to students, student organizations, and advisors. This position assists with the execution of student organization fairs, education sessions, and the annual student organization registration process. In addition, this position serves as a liaison to other departments around student organization items and is a main point of contact for student organization management and space reservation systems. This position serves as the advisor for the Programming Activities Board which plans events and student engagement opportunities for all students. The Coordinator also assists with student engagement social media, newsletters, and department marketing. The position reports to the Associate Director, Student Connection and Community and is primarily based on the West Valley Campus, with university-wide responsibilities.

Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
