Assists with Center communications, social media efforts, publications, and the production of marketing materials that advance the Center’s initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field.
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail, including knowledge of AP style.
Strong organizational skills. Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain positive relationships with staff and consultants.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Professional marketing or communications experience writing for web, social media, print, and email platforms.
Experience with digital communications technology, including social media platforms, email management systems, event management systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of search engine optimization, web/social media, and accessibility best practices.
Knowledge of website and social media analytics, including Google Analytics. Knowledge of charter public schools.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinates and oversees the Center’s social media strategy and develops content across all social media platforms.
Coordinates and oversees the development of content for the Center’s website.
Assists in the development of written content for email and print projects.
Researches and communicates stories that share the positive results of our partner charter schools.
Assists with communications project development from initiation to closure.
Implements the Center’s messaging to ensure organizational consistency and increase exposure for the Center.
Assists with special projects.
Assists with communications projects to market programs and events.
Supports professional development initiatives by assisting with presentations, speaker comments, invitations, and programs.
Manages the process for gathering and analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of all digital communications initiatives.
Researches current and emerging digital trends and best practices. Completes other projects as assigned. Supervision Exercised None.
