As the Coordinator – CSR, you will support our global “Good Done Right” CSR program through data analysis & reporting, supporting communication to internal & external stakeholders, and assisting in the execution of Wendy’s CSR strategy, focused on initiatives with impacts and influence in Wendy’s Company- and Franchise-operated restaurants and achievement of our public ESG goals. You will work closely with the CSR lead and various cross-functional partners including communications, quality assurance, procurement, investor relations and others, to drive the implementation of system-wide CSR programs and major initiatives related to topics material to the Wendy’s business, such as energy efficiency & renewable energy, packaging & waste, people and ethics, nutrition and others.
Responsibilities Track performance against external and internal ESG goals and targets, develop data insights and recommendations for performance improvements, and build dashboards and scorecards to aid in decision-making and external disclosure. Create and maintain robust ESG data inputs, outputs, and forecasts. Ensure accuracy, auditability, and development of key ESG metrics and performance indicators. Collaborate with Internal Audit to ensure quality assurance and appropriate internal controls and collaborate with Financial Reporting to ensure complete and accurate climate related reporting within our Forms 10-Q and 10-K.Collaborate cross-functionally, and with our franchise and supplier partners, to improve and streamline data collection capabilities in restaurants and in supply chain, including partnering on the Wendy’s Energy Challenge program.Manage an online platform for utility data collectionParticipate in the leadership committee for the Squarely Sustainable Council as the CSR function representative. Monitor ESG disclosure regulations and voluntary standards (e.g. SASB, TCFD, GRI, UN SDGs, CSRD, etc.) to ensure alignment; track emerging ESG regulations and develop strategies to address them across the business; track rater/ranker methodologies and performance.
