Must be a positive customer service oriented individual and be able communicate and follow up effectively with vendors and contractors. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. This position acts as the informational hub of the department. We are looking for a dedicated Coordinator Facilities Management like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** 1. Demonstrates and adheres to the hospital-wide Values and Care Promise. 2. Promotes the hospital and department’s customer service efforts. Provides service excellence to clients and families, medical and nursing staff, support services and hospital personnel. Provides immediate and satisfactory objective problem resolution for valid complaints/issues. 3. Communicates and collaborates with other departments to encourage and foster actions which meet client needs and achieve outcome goals. 4. Orders all routine supplies and equipment through pre-approved suppliers and/or centralized purchasing. Maintains proper functioning of the office equipment and coordinates the purchase, maintenance and repair of office equipment; coordinates the maintenance of the building's including interior and exterior services and keeps the Program Director informed. 5. Serves as a liaison between staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. 6. Regularly communicates with the Director regarding administrative concerns. 7. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. **What qualifications you will need:** 1. High School degree or equivalent. Training in interpersonal relationship courses such as conflict resolution preferred. Three to five years’ experience as an office manager in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. 2. Working knowledge of medical terminology and standard medical office procedure is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel and experience working in an electronic medical record required. 3. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively negotiate and resolve issues. 4. Must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, progressive environment and to be able to work independently with little direct supervision.
