The Coordinator of Community Fairbanks Recovery Center Volunteer and Alumni plans, organizes, administers and coordinates the volunteer and alumni activities of the agency which includes planning and promoting the volunteer and alumni program 

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

· Fairbanks: Develop and manage Volunteer and Alumni Program. Oversees Volunteer and Alumni activities and meetings. Develops and manages ongoing volunteer and alumni program through recruiting, training, screening and interviewing. Oversees placement of volunteers and review of volunteers as indicated. Monitor and track volunteer hours. Coordinates annual volunteer recognition. Maintains volunteer files and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. Meets periodically with department management to discuss proposed plans and schedules. Participates in writing and reviewing volunteer and alumni policies and procedures. Working knowledge of 12-step recovery program.
