The Coordinator-Field Services Operations position is a multi-faceted position responsible for coordination and completion of Field Service operational responsibilities for assigned market(s). It requires a high level of coordination of activities and personnel; records maintenance, and communications with multiple teams, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time delivery of products and services to our customers. Emphasis will be on performing Field Service support functions in a standardized process across all markets.
ResponsibilitiesInventory management for assigned market(s)
Monitor market inventory levels. Work with internal partners to maintain appropriate inventory levels.Manage the movement of inventory into and out of markets.Issue equipment/supplies from inventory to technicians, other TDS associates, and third-party vendors.Maintain appropriate inventory levels using related systems/applications.Order and process orders for inventory and materials needed for market operations. Also order equipment, uniforms, office supplies, etc. Maintain an accurate log of all purchase orders specific to Field Services.Receive shipments and track regulated & deregulated inventory and materials.Track delinquent shipments.Lead inventory reconciliation, CPR (Continuing Property Records) audit and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance checks.Serve as the single point of inventory contact for vendors and internal groups.May operate a forklift to unload inventory and move it within the warehouse.Partner coordination
Manage communications and tasks across internal teams and external contractors to ensure work completion, including:Confirmation of project statuses and completion of incomplete tasksCoordination of technician dispatches to customer sitesEnsuring all accounting tasks are completed for inventory managementInteract with TDS customers, including:Confirmation of or rescheduling of technician visits (in some markets).Communication of unscheduled technician visits.Drop install coordination for assigned market(s)
Create new projects.Prepare initial Site Survey checklists.Follow up on installs and retrievals from assigned field tasks.Review open order reports and takes action to ensure completion.Follow up on reports from SAP for open and closed projects.Coordinate with drop install vendors when needed, including assisting with resolution to any property damage incurred during drop installations.Ensure timely review and follow up of notification of orders and tickets.Ensure that completed work and inventory is captured correctly and timely to ensure the timely keying out of materials and closing of orders.Local market team support
Coordinate vendor meetings.Assist the workforce management team with dispatching assignments.Process invoices to Accounts Payable.Assign and maintain logs for test equipment and tools.Order and cancel facilities access keys.Return equipment.Maintain repair and vehicle logs.Update contact lists.May perform office safety checks in certain markets (i.e., AED Check, First Aid Kit, fire extinguisher inventory and safety assurance checks).Field Service Manager support
Document, track, and submit information needed for manual bills in assigned territory.Assist with customer escalations.Assist with vendor escalations. QualificationsRequired Job Qualifications
Associates degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years professional work experience.2+ years administrative support with internal and external customer experience -OR- current military service, or prior military service with honorable discharge.Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license Must follow the TDS attendance guidelines in order to meet TDS’s business needs including but not limited to our obligations to our customers and to our customers’ needs.Other Qualifications
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take on increasing responsibilities as they evolve over time.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, preferably to include Excel and Word.Understanding of telecommunications industry and telecom products and services is preferredAbility to adapt to rapid changes.Problem solving skills (e.g., customer complaints, troubleshooting).Ability to be certified to operate a forklift.Do you meet the Required Qualifications but are unsure if your experience aligns with the Other Qualifications?
