Coordinator for Graduate Admissions and International Programs
Classification Title: Coordinator for Graduate Admissions and International Programs Job Description:

Support UF Law's strategic recruitment plan for LL.M. S.J.D., MSL and other non-J.D. programs.  Reporting to an Assistant Dean or Director for Graduate and international Programs and working with the Admissions Office, manage the end-to-end law admissions business/data process system from prospect stage throughout enrollment of the class for non-J.D. students.  Using Unite Education, PeopleSoft, Excel or other software, continually develop, design and modify queries and reports for the non-J.D. programs; drafts and revises application instructions and applicant correspondence.

Facilitate conversion of admitted applicants to enrolled students.  Coordinate with the University of Florida Registrar and IT Offices, and LSAC staff, as needed to maintain data integrity; identify and implement policy and process revisions to streamline application management and processing. 

Advising prospective non-J.D. and international students.  Provide information UF Levin College of Law programs to prospective LL.M., S.J.D., and MSL students. 

Provide other programming support and duties as assigned.  Support the goals and objectives of the University and College of Law through support of programs for non-J.D. students throughout the year.

 

Expected Salary:

commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.  

Preferred Qualifications:

Significant experience with law school admissions software and processes. 

J.D., LL.M., or MSD degree. 

Proficiency in one or more foreign languages, especially Spanish, Chinese or Portuguese;

Understanding the legal, educational, and cultural norms of the U.S., Latin America, Asia, or other international student markets; 

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of internal and external constituencies;

Ability to project a positive image of the University of Florida and the Levin College of Law.
