Coordinator for Student Conduct and Community Standards

Job Summary:
The Coordinator for Student Conduct and Community Standards reports directly to the Associate Dean and Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities. This role’s principal responsibility is to assist in overseeing matters pertaining to student behavior, student conduct, and with Title IX compliance primarily on the Florham Campus. This position serves on an on-call rotation with our Housing team and has optional live on housing at the Florham campus.
Required Qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree in education, social work, administration/student personnel or related field.
2. Minimum of one to three years full-time experience within higher education student conduct processes with conduct office or residence life or related area, graduate assistantship can be substituted for a year of full time experience.
3. Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive learning environments and serving diverse populations of college students as outlined in application materials.
4. Excellent written communication skills as evidenced by application materials.
5. Experience in managing confidential and sensitive information. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations as outlined in application materials and interview process.
6. Experience with student conduct management systems; Maxient preferred.
7. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
