Location District Department DT Human Resources Job Summary Reporting to the Manager of HR Administrative Services, the Human Resources Coordinator provides support for all aspects of the Human Resources function including compensation, benefits, payroll, compliance, unemployment claims, employee relations matters, employee engagement, employee development, and full cycle talent management. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Provides consistent interpretation and implementation of college policies, programs, and procedures Collaborates with HR Directors to support organizational objectives and strategy Ensures an environment of excellence in customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions timely and accurately Liaisons with the College’s Public Information Officer to respond to open records requests Leads department finance functions related to purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, and purchasing card auditing Troubleshoots critical personnel matters with campus administrators timely and accurately with a high degree of discretion Coordinates with vendors, supervisors, and employees in support of the random drug screening program Champions the College and departmental values and culture at all times Assists with data analysis and requests for personnel data Assists with or prepares correspondence as requested


Service Excellence Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
SupervisionWorks under the supervision of the Manager of HR Administrative Services
*Performs Other Related Tasks as Required

Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements, or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and work-related experience Preferred Qualifications At least one (1) year’s working experience in public sector programs including higher education, K-12, local, or state government Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied and unpredictable in scope and volume Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical Demands
