Desired/Ideal Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30am-6:30pmPosition Summary:
Provide HR support for a high-volume DC workforce who facilitate the processing and distribution of merchandise in a cost effective, safe and customer service oriented manner. Work among a team of HR professionals to support and develop the distribution center team through internal and external engagement events, champion recognition programs, and marshal DC communication. Your goal is to ensure the Hazleton DC continues to encompass AEO’s culture and values, while encouraging associate appreciation and support.

Ensure quality customer service standards are met in an efficient and innovative manner; answering and assisting Associate requests and questions relating to benefits, leaves of absence, pay issues, and other administrative functions. Encourage the two-way communication process and reinforce AEO’s Open Door Policy. Provide professional and impactful written and verbal translation support in Spanish and English. Plan both internal and external events while managing a budget and vendor relationships. Provide support to HR Business Partners; this includes internal/external recruiting and AEO benefits/LOA/ADAAA, etc. Assist department with administrative functions: Maintain, organize and prepare HR general files, department files and Associate files Maintain confidentiality of associate personal information Assist DC associates with general questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, etc. Assist with annual Benefits Open Enrollment and Culture Survey communication and activities. Promote and maintain high employee morale and safety. Ability to work the weekends. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Associates degree and/or experience is required but the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field 2+ years of previous Human Resources experience is preferred Bi-lingual skills required: English/Spanish. Professional translation experience preferred. Experience in graphic design is a plus. Experience with Cavna, Microsoft Publisher, or similar software. Exceptional interpersonal, oral and business writing communication skills, including a strong telephone presence. Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment, with critical attention to detail, organizational skills and accurate reporting. High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Google Drive & Internet applications. Must be able to work flexible hours when needed.
