Job Title Coordinator I - Center for Academic Success Posting Number F006435 Position Status Full Time Grant Funded No Category APT Class Code 15 Starting Pay $66,951 Special Note Location Southeast Department SE Student Development & Education Support Services Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Student Conduct and Prevention Education, the Coordinator of Center for Academic Success is responsible for the management and coordination of services for the Center for Academic Success. This position will assist with the daily workflow and management of student conduct, academic integrity, CARE, and student grievance/complaint reports within Maxient e. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Effectively manages staffing and services of Student Success Center Coordinates college success information and strategies Works in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Advising/Counseling in developing and coordinating retention services Develops and coordinates specialized programs for Veteran students and other special populations as needed Coordinates study success, student success, wellness, skills week and other seminars Coordinates New Student Advisement Group (NSGA) efforts Coordinates program management and evaluation Provides resources and information for student support for academic subjects Provides resources for study groups and mentoring programs Coordinates cultural enrichment programs and individualized academic success plans Collaborates with Success Coach staff for strengthening FTIC student success efforts


Service Excellence Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College SupervisionWorks under the general supervision of the Director of Student Conduct and Prevention Education

Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Three (3) years of experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements in an educational or academic environment Preferred Qualifications At least one (1) year’s working experience using Maxient or other case management software for managing student grievance and complaint reports Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Skilled using computerized applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
