Location District Department DT Human Resources Job Summary Reporting to the District Director of Employee Engagement, the Coordinator I – Employee Engagement plays a crucial role in supporting various engagement activities. These activities include the employee onboarding experience, ongoing employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with departments across Tarrant County College, ensuring new hires have an exceptional first impression from day one. The role requires flexibility, including working some nights and weekends. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Works closely with other HR departments to coordinate a seamless transition from the offer stage to employee orientation Processes hiring reports and inputs new employee data in HR databases Prepares training materials for various engagement activities including new employee orientation Runs applicable reports related to orientation, engagement, and other assigned activities Facilitates in-person training that supports Employee Engagement initiatives Supports the development of new employee orientation curriculum, ensuring curriculum is aligned with College values and best practices Supports programs and initiatives that focus on wellness, employee appreciation, and recognition Assists the District Director of Employee Engagement in implementing tools and processes to capture the voice of the employee by leveraging all forms of data collection across the employee lifecycle to create employee-focused strategies, programs, and processes


Service Excellence Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College SupervisionWorks under the general supervision of the District Director of Employee Engagement

Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements, or an equivalent combination of experience and education Preferred Qualifications At least two (2) year’s working experience in a higher education institution At least two (2) year’s working experience in coordinating and organizing engagement events and initiatives. At least two (2) year’s working experience collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment of engagement initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
