CarMax is seeking a Coordinator II in Central Business Operations at our Home Office in Richmond, Virginia. Within Central Business Operations, there are multiple areas of responsibilities that could include any of the following essential responsibilities. Coordinator II Associates utilize multiple forms of effective communication and detailed record keeping as they work with a variety of internal and external business partners. Central Business Operations is a collaborative and highly motivated team. Associates have the opportunity to hone their teamwork skills, gain knowledge about the CarMax business, and grow within the company.
What you will do – Essential Responsibilities
Title Follow-Up Responsibilities:
Review accounts for information pertaining to title release, including payments, documents necessary for resale, any resources that would supply title information and update progress in CarMax systems.Collect, secure titles and/or documentation from lenders, auctions, and dealers needed for resale by obtaining status updates until receipt of title. Ability to assess work and prioritize based upon the needs of the business.Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain contacts and processes through relationship building with lenders, auctions, and dealers, focusing on continuous improvement as it pertains to title collection process.Work with internal business partners which could include store management team, purchasing team and accounting areas to assist with any obstacles in obtaining the title.Serve as the point of contact for CarMax locations for title questions and assistance needed to obtain necessary documents.Escalate issues to appropriate individuals both internal and external.Tickets and Towing Responsibilities:
Receive and review all incoming tickets, violations, and citations to make decision on contesting or providing paying.Provides documentation required for each agency to contest tickets, violations, and citation received through navigating CarMax systems, store partnerships, and agency documents.Discover efficiencies with agencies to streamline contesting process with citations, tickets, or violations received and/or provide timely payment.Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel functionsCustomer service skills, including professional phone and email communication skillsStore knowledge preferred, but not requiredHigh School diploma/GED and/or related experience/trainingAbout CarMax
