The Hematology and Oncology department is part of Cleveland Clinic's Taussig Cancer Institute, which is known for continuous clinical trials and cancer research to ensure our patients have access to the newest advances in cancer treatment.

**A caregiver in this position works 8:30am - 5:00pm.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Coordinate department project activities by distributing reports, facilitating analyses and reporting information.
+ Develop department resource databases to facilitate management of various project activities.
+ Coordinate department scheduling of individuals, resources and activities.
+ Collect, maintain and report information for the department such as patient information, budgets, caregiver PTO and schedule.
+ Function as a department liaison.
+ Assist with performance evaluations, counseling and onboarding of new caregivers.
+ Perform duties related to the preparation, implementation and analysis of special studies and projects.
+ Maintain office supplies and equipment.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ 3 years of experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects.
+ Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Prior patient scheduling experience via phone
+ Ability to work with firm deadlines
+ Prior experience working directly with patients

**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
+ Ability to operate a computer and other office and laboratory equipment
+ Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
**Personal Protective Equipment:**
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $16.47
Maximum hourly: $23.61
