POSITION TITLE:  Coordinator - Learning & Development

REPORTS TO:  Lead - Learning & Development

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will support the Learning & Development and broader Talent Management team, with a primary focus on administrative support for learning and onboarding programs, creating a positive experience for new hires and program participants! Responsible for administration and support of learning initiatives for corporate teams (Teammate Training Program, Leadership Development Series, Close Knit Co-Mentorship, etc.). Execution of weekly onboarding for NYC hires and support for NYC office engagement and recognition.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages the preparation for learning programs through administrative support, including scheduling, registration, creating communications, and event planning Partners with team and the business to provide seamless learning experiences for associates Works closely with Lead for execution of entry-level onboarding program and open-to-all workshops Creates a welcoming and exciting experience for incoming associates at our NYC office location through weekly orientation  Facilitates day 1 and 2 orientation presentation (in-person and virtually as needed) Acts as a concierge for new hires, helping them connect with the right people, showing them around the office and troubleshooting common issues in their first week Work closely with our Desktop IT partners to ensure New Hires are set up and working properly on day one with laptops and needed technology Manages employee files for our NYC population Creates and manages modules in learning management system to support learning initiatives, as needed Supports associate engagement and recognition initiatives for our NYC office in partnership with corporate communications, AEO Foundation, and others Supports Talent Management initiatives in the NYC office

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree Required Able to be present in NYC office with hybrid work schedule Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting Passionate about learning and creating positive experiences for associates Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment Experience presenting in front of small groups Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, and planning skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team Curious and driven to solve problems or enhance current processes

 

PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION:

Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
