Position Summary
Responsible for the coordination of the daily aspects of the Opioid Overdose Recovery program. Responsible for the referral, location, and linkage of consumers in the program to appropriate substance use, medical treatment, and wrap around services.
Primary Position Responsibilities
-Maintains appropriate roster of peers to respond to overdoses in the Emergency Department and the community.
-Provide Case management services to consumers linked with the program
-Provide education to Hunterdon Health, the police and the community regarding the program
-Provide timely and accurate reporting to the State of New Jersey regarding program performance.
-Assist consumers with the construction of Wellness Recovery Action Plans
-Provide Supervision to Peers employed in the program, and insure their continuing education.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Addictions or related field
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
3 years working with high needs individuals
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
Valid driver's License.
Preferred:
LCADC, LPC, or LCSW
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

The ability to write and communicate clearly. The ability to foster and maintain relationships.
