Coordinator of Mission for Life & the St. Teresa of Calcutta Community for Mothers
The Coordinator for Mission for Life and the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Community for Mothers guides the University’s service-learning initiative, Mission for Life, while leading the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Community for Mothers, and helps students see themselves as formed for distinction, leading through service, and integrated by relationships.
The Coordinator plans major University events, tracks completed service, and collaborates with on and off campus partners regarding service opportunities. The Coordinator also leads the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Community for Mothers, providing stability, support, and programming. Finally, the Coordinator serves as the secretary of the Catholic Social Teaching, Diversity, and Inclusion Task Force.
Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.

Desired Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience Include:
+ Required: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
+ Preferred: A bachelor’s degree with a strong background in marketing, communications, service-learning, and Catholic Social Teaching. A master’s degree in social work, project management, education, or a field providing a background in service-learning or Catholic Social Teaching.
+ Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
+ Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities.
+ Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the Office of Student Development and throughout the university, in accord with Saint Benedict’s admonition that all be received as Christ.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
+ Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of the formative process of young adults according to Christian and Catholic teaching and tradition.
+ Ability to teach, instruct, mentor, and lead.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and relate effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
+ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, lead group discussions, and facilitate group decision-making.
