Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Coordinator of Quality Improvement - Brooklyn.

In this role, the successful candidate In this role, the successful candidate will assist the Director of QI/Clinical Systems Integration toward the implementation of the Quality Management Plan. Under the supervision of the Senior Coordinator, collaborates with all levels of leadership and staff, as appropriate, to collect and analyze data with the deliberate intent of developing recommendations for improvement. Also, collaborates with leadership/staff managing the credentialing files to maintain a current, thorough list of clinical staff as well as others tasks as indicated that impact on the overall quality improvement vision of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Execute other tasks as assigned.Assists in facilitating and implementing the Quality Improvement Plan for assigned service area(s). Works collaboratively with leadership of service area to develop, implement and monitor improvement goals.Facilitates data collection impacting on the improvement goals of assigned service area(s), as well as for the overall quality improvement activities of the network.Collaborates with the Information Technology team to streamline and use technology, i.e. automation to facilitate the overall quality improvement activities, which would include data collection, metrics development, publication of metrics and or improvement results.Facilitates improvement initiatives, which includes but not limited to, monitoring trends in metrics, works collaboratively with physicians, administrative leadership, professional and paraprofessional staff in rapid cycle PDSAsCollaborate with the appropriate clinical and administrative leadership in developing/revising policies and procedures.Participates in development and implementation of training curricula impacting on the overall risk reduction program, quality improvement plan and electronic medical record new employee orientationParticipates in assigned standing committees and improvement teams. Acts as Team Leader or Facilitator for improvement teams

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Required HS diploma. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Health-related discipline. Minimum 4+ years of quality, EHR or health care related experience. Experience with State and Federal compliance regulations and standards. Strong collaboration skills, written and verbal communications skills. Attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills. Ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate the implementation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Initiative, good judgment and the ability to achieve results. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel. Proficiency with MS PowerPoint.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $79,698.00 - $82,680.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
