Job Overview:

As the S-COPE clinical coordinator, you will be working beside S-COPE director to support staff, collect data, and assist with scheduling responsibilities for program.

As the S-COPE clinical coordinator, you will carry a case load promoting geriatric behavioral health services within long-term care facilities through consultations, education, on-site mentoring, and regional trainings.

As the S-COPE Clinical coordinator, you will be operating with an interdisciplinary team consisting of Gero psychiatrist Consultants, and advanced nurse practitioner, licensed clinical social workers, and master level clinicians.

Qualifications:

Required:

Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other mental health related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in mental health field, crisis intervention, behavioral health, or related servicesClean driving record due to utilizing company vehicles

Certifications and Licenses Required:

License in Social Work (LSW) or Counseling


Scheduling Requirements:

Shift working, Monday-Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM On Call Rotating responsibilities Monday-Friday 4:30PM-8:30PM, Saturday/Sunday 8:30AM-6:30PMFull Time


Essential Functions:

Address psychogeriatric challenges by assessing clients using mental health screening tools and provide professional recommendations, training, and staff development to ensure the appropriate use of acute psychiatric services and effectively support the goal for older adults who are residents within Long Term Care facilitiesProvide assessments to support the goal for older adults who are residents within Long-Term Care Facilities to receive the behavioral health supports they need to successfully age in placeCollaborate with facilities to develop their expertise in promoting quality of life, wellness, and dignity of each residentMaintain HIPPA compliance and respect the professional practice by working at all times in the best interests the older adult community
