**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Data Collection and Interpretation for Program Reporting to support program assessment and accreditation, including for all 4201 schools and the President of NTID and Department Chair of MSSE.
+ Assist the Department Chair with assessment processes including; monitor, measure, and document that each student has met the program expectations; help provide plan for students who do not achieve level of performance required
+ Ensure student submission to TEACH is complete and all recording is current and accurate for New York State Teacher Licensure Certification.
+ Create a database of all Alumni and Employment survey results.
+ Coordinate the work of the MSSE faculty related to reports, state program reviews, and unit accreditation with the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)
+ Independently responsible for data analysis and visualization duties for the MSSE including the planning, design, and implementation of dashboards and analytical reports, especially as they pertain to accreditation, assessment/evaluation and continuous quality improvement activities.
+ Investigate and implement processes for the collection of data and maintenance of databases and spreadsheets. After analyzing the data, develop reports for various departmental committees and accrediting and certifying bodies.
+ Provide support for the MSSE accreditation, planning and program effectiveness efforts by coordinating, managing and monitoring accreditation activities, data collection and reporting.
+ Assists with monitoring regional and specialized accreditation policies and procedures; overseeing data collection related to planning and program effectiveness efforts; and supporting faculty and staff with assessment activities. Some travel may be required to conduct site research
+ Review and update degree audits in a timely manner, including evaluate and determine the transfer of credits; research course descriptions to determine transferability as assigned.
+ Participate in degree certification process as assigned.
+ Prepare Memorandum of Understanding between our university and partner schools. Discuss legalities with Legal Compliance and ensure all MOUs are current and filed in appropriate places.
+ Maintain a database of student teaching placements and utilize this database for future program growth.
+ Monitor Student Learning and Licensure (SLL) platform and update regularly to provide timely information for faculty and students on progress and needs.
+ Administer Educational Performance Assessment and Educational Disposition Assessments and Score/Rate these assessments.
+ Work with Department Chairperson in leading Advisory Council for Master of Science in Secondary Education teacher preparation program.
+ Collaborate with community and educational partners for assessment construction, maintenance and review. Chair of the MSSE Advisory Board for Accreditation.
+ Assist the program director in organizing materials for grant reports as well as other required reports, program accreditation materials (CED and CAEP), alumni and school administrator surveys and other tasks by request.
+ Provides training for all students, university supervisors and mentor teachers to ensure accurate collection of data.
+ Professional Development for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Educators, to satisfy the Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirements in the Department of Education in New York State. This will be a collaboration with departments within NTID, such as Science and Mathematics and external providers.
+ Coordinate, implement and assess a comprehensive program of continuing education to support NTID students and professional educators in New York State
+ Establish and implement internal systems and procedures to support CTLE requirements. Consult with administrators, faculty, and staff to determine current and anticipated CTLE program needs.
+ Coordinate master calendar of workshops, programs and professional development events utilizing New York Department of Education approved providers.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty, students, and other educators seeking professional development opportunities and resources that meet the New York Department of Education’s requirements for CTLE.
+ Participate in Department Service responsibilities, attend department meetings and other events if applicable.

+ 3+ years in a field relevant to the position

+ Demonstrated Proficiency in ASL

**Job Summary:**
The coordinator of graduate program assessment and accreditation in NTID’s Department of Deaf Education will focus on graduate programs who work closely with accrediting bodies and assessment. In order to maintain quality assurance and compliance, this position will focus on ensuring all graduate programs in this department meets the criteria for accreditation. This position will work directly with the New York State Department of Education and serve as a consulting perspective for other states department of education for their teachers. This position also will provide professional development opportunities for preservice and in-service teachers in order to retain teachers in the workforce after graduation.
