Coordinator Regulatory Compliance FAA FCC
**The Team** We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator - FAA/FCC to join American Tower’s Legal team. This team ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the construction, marking and lighting of assets. Day to day you will provide administrative support to the FAA/FCC team. As a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator, you will partner cross- functionally to review project details, complete routine agency filings and respond to information requests. **What You Need to Succeed** + Associate or Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in regulatory compliance, planning or similar field strongly preferred. + Wireless communication industry experience preferred. + Knowledge of FAA/FCC regulatory filing practices preferred. + Approximately 5% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities + Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively + Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. + Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment. **What You Can Offer Us** + Process routine FAA/FCC review requests for collocation projects, tower modification projects, new construction and tower marking and lighting changes; escalate advanced requests to senior team members. + Complete high-volume data entry in company databases and governmental agency web-based databases. + Screen customer applications for FAA/FCC concerns; track all reviews in company database. + Correspond with processing counterparts in government agencies and project teams to convey FAA/FCC requirements and review status. + Dispatch Field Operations personnel for on-site FAA/FCC verification work. + Provide administrative support for internal FAA/FCC audit projects. + Other duties as assigned.
