RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Nurse Coordinator for the Neuroscience Institute at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) 3-5 years in Nursing Strong communication and organizational skillsProficient computer skills

Certifications and Licenses Required:

BLS & ACLS Certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Preferred:

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)Specialty CertificationNeurological nursing and critical care experience

Scheduling Requirements:

Day shift, 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

The Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a stroke registry for all inpatientsWill work with the interdisciplinary team on development, implementation and evaluation of data collection, analysis and reports according to national and state requirements and standardsWill assist in professional education programs as requestedWill provide support / resource to the NeuroScience Institute and Stroke Team
