Job Overview:

The Coordinator Scheduling for the Interventional Radiology Special Procedures department operates the scheduling systems at a proficient level in order to assist physicians and route cases to appropriate areas for review in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma Minimum 3 years working in a fast-paced office environment, preferably within a healthcare or hospital settingGood typing skills, office routine familiarity with emphasis on Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong knowledge of medical terminology

Day ShiftFull-Time

Essential Functions:

Provides excellent customer service to patients, physicians and all other hospital staffDuties of clerical nature including:scheduling proceduresfillinganswering and routing telephone calls and receiving people requesting information and services in the departmentOperates PACS and RIS systems at a proficient level in order to assist physicians and route cases to appropriate areas for review
