Position Summary
This position is responsible for managing and maintaining our security systems which include CCTV, access control, and building alarms.
Position Duties/ResponsibilitiesInstall low voltage wiring CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6a at company locations throughout Indiana and Michigan. Installation work includes cable routing, terminating jacks/patch panels, pathway support structures (such as cable tray, racks, and j-hooks).Installation of IP cameras and PTP devicesAssist with camera server managementIssue and reclaim security badges for all employeesEnsure proper security access is assigned to all employeesInvestigate, troubleshoot and provide a solution for all IP camera, security badge and building alarm issuesEnsure all documentation on security systems and processes are updated timely and accurateAssist in managing security vendorsCoordinate with Facilities and Real Estate and IT as neededOther duties as assignedPosition Requirements
High School DiplomaExperience with low voltage wiringPrevious work experience in construction-based tradeGood mechanical skills and experience with the use of construction job site tools and equipmentExperience with IP camera installation and managementPreferred:
