This position contributes to Starbucks success by delivering business value through coordination, planning, and reporting for Store Design leaders, including that of confidential and complex nature. Provides specific support for programs, projects, meetings, and events. Adapts to shifting priorities and ensures effort is adjusted accordingly. Prioritizes and anticipates potential barriers with little to no direction.

 

As a coordinator, sr. you will…

Directs and executes complex administrative projects including coordinating, tracking or analyzing budgets; researching information to respond to questions; updating databases and organizational charts; creating monthly reports or analyses; organizing large volumes of materials. May research background material and collect data for reports, meetings, events and correspondence Schedule and arrange business travel and process expenses.  Serve as a knowledge resource to department or function.  Gather content and prepare presentation materials to support functional work.  Provide administrative support to leaders. Proactively manages leaders calendars with attention to accuracy, detail and allocation of time and resources to promote productivity and successful execution of executive and team goals and objectives. Recognizes the need to reprioritize as appropriate if business initiatives change and acts independently to realign executive priorities.  May organize, host and facilitate activities such as team and cross-functional meetings, conferences and department activities.  Coordinate and organize sections of projects, leads small projects, meetings, and support for events. Track and update team documents including budgets, project notes, and other materials to provide support to project, process, or event. Support partners and/or project team using effective communication and provides information to aid in decision making

We’d love to hear from people with:

1 or more year of experience in a role performing administrative assistant or coordinator job functions. 1 or more years of experience in a role managing calendars and email in Microsoft Outlook. 1 or more years of experience working in fast-paced environments. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 productivity tools. Knowledge and basic use of project management practices and tools. Preferred experienced using Adobe In-Design. Strong self-driven organizational and time management skills. Positive attitude excited to coordinate leaders for efficiency and productivity. Exemplary problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

 

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
