What Will You Do?
Design test setups, prototype parts, and analyze product design weaknesses.Conduct cable, component, and copper channel testing per standards.Compile and analyze test data in organized test report formats.Work as a team to improve accuracy and ease of testing and setups.Assist engineering with new designs, simulation, and validation. Education: Some college coursework completed
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Currently enrolled in- or recently completed BSME or BSEE.Creative approach to problem solving based on solid theoretical engineering skill.Willing to provide engineering support required to sustain current product offering as well as evaluate new product designs. This includes performing product testing in the laboratory. Proficiency in SolidWorks which includes the development of assemblies using part models of components is preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must have an acceptable level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.Must be able to contribute to several projects at a time.Prepare written and verbal reports.Conduct engineering studies/investigations.Preferred but not required is familiarity with usage of a network analyzer, handheld cable analyzer (i.e. Fluke), and multimeter.Availability to work Full-Time in New London, CT.
