Copy Editing Senior Analyst

We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. **Position Summary** The Senior Analyst, Copy Editing is responsible for reviewing and editing all communications and/or promotional copy for voice, tone, style, clarity, grammar and brand standards for a key Aetna strategic client. You will ensure that written communications shared through all print and digital channels are high-quality, error free and aligned with the client’s goals. You will provide feedback to internal and external contributors, assign revisions and rewrites as needed. You will assist with writing assignments as required, ensuring all deliverables are consistent with the client’s written quality and consistency standards. You will successfully copyedit on a range of channel deliverables, including but not limited to print, digital, web, and video assets. You will serve as a strategic and trusted partner to the account management, creative and client teams. You will exhibit outstanding writing judgment and achieve the highest possible standards for all materials, regardless of medium. You must have strong knowledge of the client’s business, style, and consistency standards. **Fundamental Job Components** + Possess a deep understanding of the health insurance industry, client’s health benefits products, audiences, and business objectives, and execute on copyediting that aligns with the client’s vision. + Ensure successful execution of all copyediting and writing projects, ensuring they are error free, delivered on time and exceed required quality standards. + Review and edit communications copy/content for clarity, grammar and readability following client voice, tone, and style guidelines. + Review all written communications, including but not limited to letters, marketing pieces, emails, SMS, phone scripts, website copy, etc. to ensure they’re in plain language, meet reading grade levels, and follow applicable client brand and voice guidelines. + Contribute suggestions and constructive feedback to internal writers and external contributors through assorted stages in the writing process. + Routinely update copy for web, email, social, display ads, direct mail and print collateral. + Maintain records of all drafts, feedback, revisions and final deliverables in project management system. + Workefficientlytoensurethatallwritingassignmentsmeetdeadlines. + Make sure that all web copy adheres to basic HTML and SEO best practices. + Recommend, research and develop facts, quotes, and scenarios to support writing as needed. + Execute copy editing requests with accuracy, producing zero errors in work (client’s edits are implemented correctly, spell check was run, facts and trademarks confirmed). + Proactively identify and act on opportunities for operational efficiencies and improvements. **Required Qualifications** + 3 plus years of copywriting/editing in a corporate or agency setting. + 3 plus years of health benefits insurance marketing and communication expertise. + Employee benefits knowledge and experience. + Experience delivering constructive, professional feedback to writers. + Proven experience upholding brand standards and project guidelines. + Experience managing multiple projects with high standards on tight deadlines. + Exceptionalwritten,verbalandinterpersonalcommunicationskills. + Demonstrated ability to adapt style of copy to various audiences, purposes, or media. + Strong organizational skills and an eye for fine detail. + Experience working independently and with a diversity of team members. + HTML- and SEO-driven copy experience for web and email. + Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. + Experience working within a CMS (e.g.: WordPress, Joomla, Drupal). + Knowledge of AI to proof and/or enhance copy **Education** + Bachelor’s degree (preferably in English, Marketing, Communications) or equivalent work experience). **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $112,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
