Responsibilities Overview The Copywriter is a key member of the in-house creative studio team and is an integral part of Post Pet’s marketing and branding efforts. This role will collaborate with designers/art directors, project managers, external creative partners, marketing teams and other internal partners. We’re looking for a big thinker who can quickly translate their ideas into go-to-market ready copy for a variety of exciting projects including digital, social, print, video and e-commerce with an emphasis and knowledge of the Shopper Marketing space. We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, thinks strategically and can effortlessly craft communications that flex and resonate with our consumers across these great brands. The Copywriter also requires an emphasis on ensuring brand standards are upheld and that there is consistency within our tone and voice for each band across the pet portfolio. Accountabilities Write original and engaging copy for marketing materials including but not limited to digital advertisements, social media graphics, UX optimized website content, support A/B testing, brochures, flyers, posters, promotional materials and internal presentations/communications Ensure that copy is on brand, consistent with brand and legal guidelines across all design assets Adhere to campaign standards that have been established by agency partners Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for new initiatives and projects to develop engaging ideas that attract and retain consumers Constantly research creative and cultural trends that exist inside and outside our industry  Partner with designers/art directors to develop creative solutions that deliver on creative briefs and brand guidelines Detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines and project specifications Proactively and effectively communicate with other team members on your projects Openly welcome feedback through creative critiques and demonstrate an ability to take direction  Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements Qualifications Exeprience 2+ years' of copywriting experience, preferably in an in-house or agency environment Portfolio that showcases a range of strategic writing, ideation and strategic thinking across different mediums (CPG experience a plus) Expert editing and proofreading skills Proficient in Microsoft office suite and both Keynote and PowerPoint Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Developing communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present/explain creative concepts Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel 15% Education Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field required Work Location In office (Lakeville, MN) with a hybrid work schedule #LI-hybrid Post Holdings provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, status as a covered veteran and any other category protected under applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws.
