Responsibilities

Responsible for generating external and internal copy for the Brookdale creative services team to complement visual concepts created by an art director across many platforms-digital, collateral, print, broadcast, etc. Crafts words to elicit an emotional response from the reader. Develops effective, unexpected concepts while delivering copy that wows the reader.

 

Creates work, concepts and copy, that adheres to the creative brief, is completely grammatically accurate, and motivates the target audience to take a particular action.Develops creative, clear written materials in support of Brookdale’s communication strategies.Plans, develops, and publishes internal or external communications (i.e. newsletters, brochures, manuals, website, content).Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.Partners with creative services team to concept and produce lead generation/nurturing campaigns.Collaborates with project teams to understand business objectives and audience.Writes perfect and pleasing copy that will engage the reader.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communication, or other related field required. Minimum three years copywriting experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
