Sitting within the Marvin Creative Studio, a Copywriter, specializing in technical product writing, is responsible for helping to clearly communicate what sets our thoughtfully designed and expertly crafted products apart—all in a tone that supports the brand’s premium positioning. As part of a passionate team, the Copywriter will work alongside other dedicated creatives, including other copywriters, designers, art directors, and creative leads. This work will help elevate our presence and positioning in the market, reinforce Marvin as the right source for innovative solutions among key trade audiences, and continue to build our 100+ year history in the market. Highlights of your role Collaborate with other members of the Marvin Creative Studio to develop thought-provoking work.Help refine and advance key long- and short-form product touchpoints, including promotional materials, web pages, presentations, blog posts, etc.Maintain a consistent voice for the brand while writing copy that’s informed and relevant to Marvin target audiences, reflecting brand positioning and strategy. Interview and consult with subject-matter experts to understand Marvin products and services and create clear and engaging content. Work closely with the Marvin digital team to translate success metrics into actionable creative opportunities, like integrating SEO keywords and best practices to optimize Marvin’s search results. Compensation $66,000 - $89,000 Annually You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) A bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., journalism, English, creative writing, or advertising) is required as well as 5+ years of experience working within a creative agency environment. A portfolio of work that demonstrates: 1.) An ability to clearly convey technical information (ideally within the home + shelter category; 2.)
