BWXT is seeking an intern with the responsibility for providing support including, but not limited to: + Collaborate with experienced engineers and designers to develop analytical models for nuclear reactor thermal-hydraulic performance analysis and assess their operating characteristics using state-of-the-art analysis software. + Work within a multi-disciplinary team to make design tradeoffs and decisions relating to thermal-hydraulic performance of a terrestrial or space based nuclear reactor system. Job Qualifications / Requirements: + Must be a currently enrolled student, pursuing a degree in engineering. + Must have a strong interest in thermal-hydraulic engineering. + Must have taken introductory engineering classes, including thermodynamics/heat transfer, fluid mechanics, or those same topics covered in nuclear engineering courses. + Experience with thermal-hydraulic analysis tools (MOOSE, Ansys or other) is a plus. + Must be a U.S. citizen.
