Role: Core Java Developer Location: Chicago IL (hybrid) Term: 12-Month Contract (likely will be extended) Top Skills: + 5+ years of Java development experience + Spring Boot framework / RESTful Services + 2+ years of RDBMS experience (SQL, postgre, Oracle) + Junit testing experience Desired Skills: + Working experience in AWS deploying, troubleshooting is a plus + Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science/Engineering + Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines. + Understanding of architecture and design across all systems. + Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices. + Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture. + Working proficiency in developmental toolsets such as Ant, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins + Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and framework such as Java/J2EE/Java Sprint Boots + Must have Solid understanding of object oriented, multi-thread design methodologies and J2EE design patterns. + Must have relational database experience such as Oracle or PostgreSQL + Must have hands-on experience building cloud based application with good understanding of micro-services architecture. + Experience with unit test coverage tools such as Junit + Experience in troubleshooting production issues. + Strong communication skills with Sr. Leadership team and rest of the development teams. + Able to organize and handle technical discussion with architects and Sr. Leaders. + Expertise in Kubernetes, Kafka messaging ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
